New Video Streaming - 28 Aug 2007
Today we have launched a new upgraded video streaming player, with much faster loading times, and improved reliability and performance. All members will have immediate access to the new streaming player.

Improved Video Streaming - 01 Aug 2007
Over the next month we will be unveiling our new video streaming service. We are upgrading the site to a new video streaming player, which will mean much faster loading times, and improved reliability and performance.
Videos should start almost instantaneously and there should be minimal buffering even during peak times.
This change has involved a lot of time and work,, and we are really excited about it, so please bare with us if there are any teething problems when the new solution is launched.
Video Storage Problem - 30 Jun 2007
We have been experiencing issues at our Data Center with our Data Storage system which started around 9:00 AM. We have rerouted all traffic to our backup data center. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Once we have corrected the issue we will send an additional update.
Badminton Coaches - 18 Jun 2007
badminton.tv are looking to build the largest online video library for badminton coaching. Be part of it by submitting short coaching clips and get paid for each one.
Not only do you get paid for each clip used you will be automatically entered into our ‘top coach’ completion with the winner receiving £500 ($1,000USD) - See the completion details below.

Video Streaming Problem - 25 Mar 2007
We are having intermittent problems with the streaming server which may result in problems viewing videos. Our engineers are working on this at the moment and we hope to have this resolved soon.

badminton.tv will be at the Yonex All England Open in Birmingham (7th to 11th March 2007) - come and meet us in person, tell us your experiences of the site, any ideas or suggestions you have and enter our competition to win an England shirt signed by Gail Emms.
New Video Interface - 29 Jan 2007
Due to technical issues we have changed our video interface from Windows Media Player to flash, to make it easier for you to view the videos. We have also made the videos larger to make them easier to view.
This means the videos should be a lot smoother and load more quickly. It also allows more people to access the videos (including those people using MAC computers). This change means you will no longer be able to download the videos to your computer, and we are sorry for any convenience this may cause.
We hope you enjoy these improvements and look forward to any comments you have. If you have any problems viewing the new videos please read the FAQ section and if you are still having problems contact us.
New Support Desk - 27 Jan 2007
Due to your feedback we have re-vamped our help desk to make it easier to use and easier to track your tickets.
We are now using a new ticketing system and as such you will need to register again and there will be no history of any of your past tickets.
We are sorry for this inconvenience, but we hope you will enjoy the new improved functionality and reliability of the new system.
New Features! - Technical Forums & Diaries - 25 Jan 2007
We have been working hard to bring you some great new features that you can enjoy as a badminton.tv member. We have added technical forums for you to discuss technical aspects of the game and to ask coaching questions.
We have also added player diaries and blogs so you can stay in touch with your favourite players! In the near future we will be improving our help desk to make it easier to use and more reliable.
Video Access - Fixed - 11 Jan 2007
We are currently experiencing sporadic problems with license acquisition when trying to view videos. We are working on this and hope to have the service back to normal shortly.
13/01/2007 - this issue has now been fixed. Please note that any videos downloaded will no longer work.
Download Issue - Fixed - 24 Sep 2006
We are currently experiencing intermittent problems with media downloads. We have investigated the problem and are now implementing a fix.
This fix will be complete this afternoon (Sunday, 24th September). Please note: this problem does not affect the streaming of clips which are fully working.
