One of the most common movements to the forehand rear court is the step out method.
From the split-step there should be movement of the non-racket leg followed by a step out with the racket leg.
The non-racket leg quite often crosses behind the racket leg in the first part of the movement. When you step out you should also focus on the step taking you up towards an early impact with the shuttle.
Landing
should be with the knee and foot in alignment and the deeper the step
out the more the racket leg will point towards the rear court.
