When the rear court player in doubles is attacking from a wide position they can consider a follow up shot at the net and allow their partner to rotate behind them.
This routine starts with a feed to the rearcourt which should be smashed and then the same player follows up with an attacking shot in the net area.
Their partner then covers the next feed to the rearcourt and the routine should be repeated for at least 10 rotations.
The feed is important in this exercise and the feeder needs to be able to hold a string of shuttles on their non racket forearm to hit in rapid succession.
