This routine allows all three players to be working on different aspects within the same routine. Player 1 smashes, Player 2 defends with a block and Player 3 kills at the net.
The focus here is on the 2 players on the same side working as a team, so the idea is - as one player is hitting the shot the other player is moving looking for the next shot to maintain the attack and possibly finish the rally.
Player 2 should ‘feed’ the blocks initially but as the exercise progresses their focus should be on their own development of their blocking skills. Their goal is to block the smash so that Player 3 is not able to kill the shuttle.
