When your partner is serving in doubles you should try and take up a base position behind them where you feel comfortable getting behind any lifts to the rear court but also be able to reach any attacking returns down the sides from the short serve.

During the rally, after playing an attacking shot from the rear of the court, you need to recover towards the centre of the rear court between shots.
