Saturday 14th April
I went out with Hazel and Marissa this evening. Hazel is married with 2 kids and I stayed round hers that night. I went to school with these 2 girls and I have never been out to their local place – we’ve always met up in Bedford, so tonight was my first outing to Eaton Socon!
We just went to this 1 pub as it had these 2
people singing and it had a pretty good atmosphere. We started drinking and before long we were
dancing around to the music! Hazel and
Marissa have a habit of buying shots as well as the drinks that you order!
At half past 12, Marissa’s husband Daryl picked us up to take us home and it was a good job that he didn’t arrive much earlier as he would’ve seen his wife be very sick outside the pub!! She is so classy! Ha ha ha! We got back to Hazel’s where both of us then realised that we were a bit more drunk than we realised and swapped the glass of red wine for a cup of tea!
Hazel’s husband Mark came down to
check we were ok and then Hazel went upstairs to check on Caitlin and didn’t
return! Instead she zonked out on her
bed and then Mark informed me that she then was ill in the bathroom! So there you go, a crazy night to have by all
in Eaton Socon!!
Sunday 15th April
Was woken by Caitlin and Jakob, Hazel’s children. To be fair they slept til 9am which is pretty
impressive as Caitlin is 3 and Jakob is 10 months!
Hazel surface eventually and the both of us looked pretty
rough! But playing with the kids makes
you forget the hangover and I had a really fun morning! I then had to go to Stansted as it was
another trip to Denmark! I left Hazel,
Mark and the kids and headed off to the airport.
Monday 16th April
My last team match in Denmark! And we lost 4-3. So we came 4th overall.
