Monday 2nd April
I have a big “L” on my forehead today, or at least this
is what everyone keeps doing to me today! Damn! But I had Sky+ fitted
today! Yippee! That has cheered me up!!
Wednesday 3rd April
I went into London in the evening to meet Mel Goldberg
for a Chinese meal near Baker Street. Mel and I met just after the Commonwealth Games and instantly got on
really well with each other. He is a top
bloke and I love meeting up with him to catch up! The meal was fantastic too and this Chinese
restaurant is rated in the top 5 Chinese restaurants in London! I’m so spoiled sometimes!!
Friday 6th April
Oh dear, we have drama today. Got a phone call from my mum at 8am telling me that my little brother Adam had a football accident last might and has broken his leg. Not only that, but he has managed to dislocate his ankle and torn all his ankle ligaments. Not bad doing!
As well as this, the guy who did this
clattered into Adam’s nose and he has 5 stitches across it! My poor little brother!! He was admitted to Bedford hospital and now
he is just waiting for an operation to repair all the damage.
For Hannah’s birthday (which is tomorrow), we went “tubing” at the snow dome in Milton Keynes. This involves sitting on a rubber ring and going down a slide of ice! It was good fun except that I really cracked my back and bum on the ice! I know I am going to have some bruises tomorrow! Later on that evening, we went to Lloyd’s Bar in the Theatre District for a few drinks to celebrate.
My sister came out as well but we felt really bad being out and enjoying ourselves when Adam was in hospital. He didn’t have the op today – it got cancelled. I think that it was because it is Good Friday…. Call me cynical but hey?! In the end we ended up leaving Hannah and her friends to it and left about midnight.
