Monday 13th November (Ed's birthday!)

It is my boyfriend Ed's birthday - he is 27 today.  Yes I know he is younger than me, but it is the fashion at the moment!  Think Cameron Diaz, Demi Moore and Kate Moss!!  I had to train in the morning (5 laps running round the lake by the badminton centre)  and then it was off to see him in Reading.  I love birthdays! I get really excited even if it isn't mine!

Anyway, it was a lovely chilled out day of presents, couple of drinks and dinner at a lovely Italian restaurant.  Perfect!

Tuesday 14th November

I have been having nightmares about this day for a while now.  Nathan and I had been asked to do the "Weakest Link" and we had agreed to do it.  I have never been so nervous!  It was being filmed at the famous Pinewood Studios near Slough and Ed and his housemate (also called Ed) came along too wanting to watch the possible humiliation that I was going to get at the hands of Anne Robinson!  After hair and make-up, it was time to eye up the competition! Peter Schmeichal, Ashia Hanson, Ricky Hatten, Alec Stewart, Mark Foster, Steve Backley, Lawrie Sanchez, and Ieuan Evans. Luckily they had decided that me and Nathan would be on the same stand which I did think we were going to get a lot of abuse from the others for that, but they all seemed really ok with that and it was for charity!  After a bit of hanging around and going through all the practice runs, (and the 2 Ed's were drinking all the champagne in the green room!) it was time to get down to the actual event!  I was wetting myself with nerves!  All I can say is that I am so lucky that Nathan was with me in the 1st round!!  I am not allowed to divulge the crucial information about how we did - you will just have to find out when you watch the show

There was another filming after our show - celebrity couples.  The guests were turning up as we were still filming and the 2 Ed's had a field day chatting with Chappers and Dave (from radio 1), the Chuckle Brothers and Ben and Lisa from Hollyoaks!  I could have left them there!  But it was part 2 of Ed's birthday pressie - we had theatre tickets in Oxford to see "The Mitchell and Webb Show".  I have only just started watching this but Ed is a big fan.  The tickets were really hard to get as most shows were all sold out and it was a really good night!  Very funny guys!
