Wednesday 27th September

Am home!!  At last!  So happy yet so tired.  My day will consist of washing, unpacking, sorting out post and cleaning!!  What a homecoming!

Anglia TV then call me up saying they want to interview me from my house?!

So at 6pm they turn up and do the whole live sports link and interview from my house.  Very bizarre - my house on tv!!  It goes well but my neighbours must be bemused as why there is a satellite truck outside in the road!!

Thursday 28th September

Today was shoe testing for Hi-Tec.  Shoes are probably the most important part of equipment on court.  Shoes are where all the impact happens and you need comfort, support and control as well as good grip and they have to be lightweight.  A lot to ask!

This test measured our impact on pressure mats and compared different shoes so the best bits from the shoes can be put together to make the ultimate shoe.  It went well and the new shoe from Hi-Tec is a lot better than the last design for us, so, so far so good!!

Just have to get used to them now!  Nathan likes the colour design as it's white and gold and he's still buzzing from the World Championships!!  Think his head is expanding rapidly...!
