A two time world ranking tour title winner, Alistair qualified for the World Championships in Malaysia 2007 where he lost to world no.11 Ronald Susilo 23/21 21/17. Recently making the main draw of the last two Super Series events of 2008 in China and Hong Kong, Alistair has just qualified for the 2009 World Championships in India, is the Scottish No.1, British No.4 Men's Singles, and has a current world ranking of 61.
